All participants are invited to send in abstract of their recent work on swine diseases and production. The 25th International Pig Veterinary Society Congress & 2018 International PRRS Symposium will accept abstracts for oral and poster presentation consideration in the following topic areas:

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All abstracts must be submitted via the web site http://www.ipvs2018.net
You will receive a link to submit your abstract in your registration confirmation. Once you receive this link, simply follow the instructions and prompts on each page of the submission site to complete your abstract submission.
Indicate your abstract topic and alternate topic.
All abstracts should be written in English. The author submitting the abstract is responsible for its content and quality of preparation. All abstracts should contain:
1. A statement of the purpose of the experiment: The objective(s) of the experiment should be clearly and concisely stated at the beginning of the abstract.
2. A description of the experimental design: Materials and methods, including population, sample, design, methodology used, data collection and analysis should be described concisely.
3. Objective information pertaining to results: The results are to be pertinent, compiled, condensed, and presented with great care.
4. An informative conclusion: Clearly stated.
5. Must use the metric system if needed.
6. Three to five key words for indexing.
Titles are limited to 150 characters, including the space. Titles should not be bold, and only the first word in the title and proper nouns should be capitalized. Example: Pathogenicity analysis of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus on Long White pig. For the keywords, only capitalize the first word and proper nouns. Example: Pathogenicity, Aujeszky's disease, brain, and protection.
Abstracts body part MUST not exceed the 350 words limit. Words exceeding this limit will be rejected for review. Confirm all special characters are showing correctly. Please do not use certain special symbols, such as Π and ∫, etc.
Abstracts should not contain pictures, references, tables, and diagrams.
Indicate whether or not your abstract should be considered for an oral presentation.
It is the responsibility of the submitting author to view and ensure that authors, affiliations, main body of text, keywords in your abstract are all correct before submission.
Each abstract will be reviewed and approved by the section chairman. Rejection will result if abstract requirements are not met.ACCEPTANCE OF ABSTRACTSCompliance with all stated conditions including adherence to the deadline is required. Acknowledgement of receipt of completed abstracts will be sent via email upon submission.AUTHOR NOTIFICATION:Abstracts will be selected solely according to the scientific merits (e.g., originality and interest, potential for significance for the field, abstract structure and clarity, scientific validity, etc). Authors will be notified of the decision (acceptance/rejection) and form of presentation as soon as possible.
All presenters who are informed to be oral speech or poster will be required to register for the congress and pay the registration fee. We regret that presenter abstracts will be excluded from the congress program and abstract publication if your registration is not received.
